Cookie Policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Public Mandate uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and client portal.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. We also use comparable browser storage (such as local storage) to keep you signed in.
2. Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to work — for example, keeping you securely signed in to the portal and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.
- Preference: remember choices you make, such as dismissing the cookie banner.
- Analytics (optional): if you consent, these help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. They are only set after you accept.
3. Managing your consent
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept non-essential cookies. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will prompt the consent banner to appear again. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features (such as the portal) rely on essential storage to function.
4. Analytics tracking
When you accept cookies, we record page views on our public marketing pages (Home, About, Clients, and legal pages). We do not use cookies or the marketing analytics system to track activity inside the client portal. The data we collect is:
- The page path visited (e.g.
/about) - The referring website, if any (e.g.
google.com) - An anonymous session identifier, generated randomly per browser session and not linked to your identity
- The timestamp of the visit
We do not collect IP addresses, names, email addresses, or any other personal data through analytics. The data is stored in our own Supabase database, hosted in the EU, and is retained for 90 days before being deleted. No data is shared with advertising networks or used for profiling.
To opt out, click "Reject" on the cookie banner, or clear this site's data in your browser settings, which will prompt the banner to appear again.
4a. Client portal activity (not cookie-based)
When you are signed in to the client portal, we log certain usage events (such as sign-ins, tender views, and document downloads) for account management purposes. This logging is based on your authenticated session, not on a tracking cookie, and therefore is not part of the cookie consent banner above. It is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third parties
Our authentication and data services are provided by Supabase, which sets essential storage to maintain your session. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising cookies.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies evolves. Please check back periodically for the latest version.
